Cerasperse PST Liquid - formulated to prevent pitch and stickies deposition on papermaking equipment

Cerasperse PST Liquid is a hydrophobically modified polyacrylate specially formulated to prevent pitch and stickies deposition on papermaking equipment by detackifying contaminants (i.e. rendering them non-tacky) and stabilising them against agglomeration.

Recommended for use on tissue and linerboard grades where high levels of recycled fibre furnish are present. Cerasperse PST Liquid is dosed into the dilution water for the thickstock at an addition rate of 0.15 – 0.30 kg / tonne fibre.

In order to retain the contaminant in the sheet (by micro-fixation) we recommend that a high charge / low molecular weight cationic polymer such as polydadmac is added to the thinstock at an addition rate of 0.30 – 0.70 kg / tonne fibre.
