Zircote Z20 - A highly effective crosslinking agent for paper and paper board coatings.

Zircote Z20 is an aqueous alkaline solution of stabilised Ammonium Zirconium Carbonate (AZC).

It reinforces the structure of the binder matrix in the coating of paper and paperboard to reduce dusting, picking and linting. Our product is formaldehyde free and provides almost instant on-machine cure.

For each part of dry latex present 0.025 parts of Zircote Z20 should be added. 
For each part of starch present 0.05 parts of Zircote Z20 should be added.

We can also offer an ammonia free product – Potassium Zirconium Carbonate (KZC).
